As I have finished my protein diet I thought I would post a couple of photos of the meals I had for two weeks. I lost 8 kg (17.6 lbs) by the way and I’m very pleased with the resulting flat belly. 😀
Black coffee with wholemeal roll for breakfast.Almost every morning I started the day with a cup of black coffee and a wholemeal roll.

I quite enjoyed that.

However my favourite was the steamed salmon. I love fish and I must admit that I haven’t tried it steamed until now but cooked in the oven or on the hob as addition to a sauce or risotto.
Salmon fillets in a steamer.This time I put the salmon fillet in the top compartment of my steamer and steamed it over boiling water for about 5-10 minutes. I kept checking with a fork if the middle was cooked yet and as soon as the raw fish turned light pink all over I turned the gas off. As regards the skin I left it on until I was ready to eat it and it peeled off easily then.

 

That is it, the end of my two week long diet. Hopefully I won’t have to repeat it in six months time. 🙂
